I’ve got my door decoration hung. Yes, I know it's a corny one, but that's okay.
I’m anticipating some delicious chocolate. (I’ve learned from experience that despite my numerous notes hung on the fridge listing gifts I’d rather get, my darling husband always comes home on Valentine’s Day with multiple boxes of candy. For me, for my daughters, for snacking.)
Since it’s that love-in-the-air time I’d love to give away a copy of Searching for Spice. Leave a comment and I’ll draw names on Sunday (Valentine’s Day).
I like to have fun and celebrate occasions. I’ve got one of those big heart-shaped cookie cutters. When they were little, my kids would always get a heart-shaped sandwich to take to school. And sometimes I’d do a red-themed dinner. One that I recall was chicken paprika. It wasn’t so great, but it was the thought that counts, right?
How about you? Do you commemorate the day in any special way?

Sigh. I love Valentine's Day, but alas, my DH grew up in a family where the holiday was literally non-existent. Not that he's not romantic, he just doesn't get romantic on V-day. Maybe now that we have a little girl (6 wks old) ... dare I hope?!? :) :) :)
Would love to read your book - great cover! :)
I love Valentines Day, mainly because I love all things with hearts and I love the color pink. I would love to read your book. Thank you.

I love all holidays, I love decorating the house for it. I live where it's very cold and snowy so Valentine's is a great depression relief holiday
I would love to read your book. Thanks for the contest.

My husband and I fun on Valentine's Day by just spending time together and giving a card. We decided a while back that giving gifts to celebrate our love is saved for the Anniversary, so we just spend time together and try to out GUSH eachother with a mushy card. It has become quite a competition and our daughter laughs and groans over our cards to eachother!! She is 17...get the picture!?! : ) Thanks for the chance to win your book. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Love and kisses!
I usually get the kids a little something to let them know they are special and loved. My husband and my anniversary is so close to Valentines day we don't to much on this day for us personally.
This year I've done a little something extra because Christmas was so lean. I've gotten mushier cards for my kids. I want them to know that they are extravangtly loved my their Heavenly Father and by us too. That's so important to know in the teen years.
I'm going to try something different with them to surprise them this year. Not quite sure what.
Thanks for putting my name in for the drawing. I would love to read one of you books.
Blessings

We love Valentine's Day so much, we got married then--35 years ago this year (I was five).
We always go out to a swanky restaurant, and buy each other great gifts, including chocolate, of course.
That's how we've stayed married so long. All that chocolate.
Please draw my name! I'd love to read your book. Thank you,

First of all, Jamie, I'm SURE that with your baby being six weeks old, your husband will want to be VERY romantic this year!!
Megan, thanks for the contest! When our children were young teens, they set up a card table in our huge master bedroom and put a nice table cloth and fancy china on it. I remember they did a great job making chicken parmesan for our dinnner. They dressed up as waiters, including towels folded over their arms, and escorted us in to a romantic dinner in our own home. A fun, cheap way to celebrate love!!
