Out of Her Hands Release Day!

I can't believe the day is here! Out of Her Hands is officially released and as they say, "available everywhere books are sold, in stores and online."

Last week I told you that Romantic Times Magazine gave me a 4 1/2 star rating, but guess what? I was also the Top Pick for the month of November! (Someone pinch me, please!)

Here's what Romantic Times Magazine said about Out of Her Hands:
"No sophomore slump for DiMaria! This novel is as engaging and meaningful as her first, Searching for Spice. Her realistic portrayal of the characters' lives should endear them to readers and help Christians to feel less alone in their daily trials."

I don't know how well you can see this, but Out of Her Hands received a 4 1/2 star review in Romantic Times Magazine! I'm absolutely thrilled.

Oh, Happy Day!

It's here! 

UPS delivered a box of ARCs for Out of Her Hands this morning. Woo hoo!

In case you're wondering, ARC stands for Advanced Reader Copy. These bound copies of the book can be unedited versions. (I think the ARC for Searching for Spice was edited, though.) The white text around the cover of the book says, "Advanced Reader Copy * Unedited Edition * For Promotional Purposes Only." ARCs are distributed to media and reviewers, people who can help spread the word, etc. Influencer copies that go to bloggers are not ARCs, they're actual copies of the book.

And speaking of cover --isn't it gorgeous? I love it! It has the same feel as Searching for Spice with the cool bubbles and the brown accent color.  The copy text that's to the right of "Linda" says, "Her son's dream girl isn't what Linda had in mind . . ."

Another one off

Late last night I had the privilege of hitting the send button and emailing Out of Her Hands to Lorie Popp. She’s the wonderful, patient Tyndale editor who will make sure my words make sense.

The evening wasn’t without a few moments of terror because as I was writing my last edited sentence, my computer had “an unrecoverable hardware error that caused the operating system to stop functioning.” It went to a blue screen, made a scary noise, and moaned off. Yikes.

But that’s all behind me, and I’m enjoying a beautiful, somewhat snowy day. Ahh, April in Colorado. Don’t you think the sight of snow on daffodils is lovely?
