The day has finally come!

It's April 1st, and the day I’ve always dreamed of is finally here—the official release date for Searching for Spice. Wow.

This morning I went to my Words For The Journey writers meeting which is held in my church, and on the way out I went into the bookstore to see if my book was on the shelf.

And it is! Look at that!

Well, don't you look spiffy. :) It'll be months before I get to see my first book on the shelves. (sigh) But, by then book 2 will be out, and I can celebrate again. Yay!

You can bet I'll be heading to the bookstore myself and snapping a picture or two as well.

Congrats! Can't wait for the 10th to celebrate with you in person and then sign with you on the 12th.

Congratulations Megan on a lot of hard work, devotion, prayer and DREAMING! You are a prisoner of hope, but now it seems to be your hope has paid off in joy! You inspire me!

Ahhhh! I love it! As I told you my daughter is holding the book captive. I was atually in the third or fourth chapter, and she picked it up to take with her to the dentist. Then she wouldn't give it back.
Now she's done and keeps teling me how good it is, but have I seen it since? No, I cwonder if I offer a ransom, could get her to bring it to me?
AHA! I just asked her about it and she is holding it until she gets her review up on Amazon.

Dear Critter,

I'm so proud of you! I read the book as you wrote it, and I was still eager to read the finished product. It really lived up to my expectations--and beyond!

Bless you,

Marion

Congratulations Megan. That must be the most amazing feeling to see it (finally) on a shelf at a bookstore!
