Well, that was fun!

I never thought I would say that about getting my annual mammogram. But this year we formed the Breast Friend’s Club and partied through the experience.

Pictured is myself, Jan and Karen. Jan gave out pink Hershey Kisses to EVERYONE in the suite. Jan also made us beautiful pink scarves, Karen’s modeling hers.
After our exams, we went out to lunch—and sat on the patio. Can you believe that? It was in the low 70s in Denver today.

What a beautiful day with some wonderful friends.

What fun. I especially liked when you asked the older man waiting for his wife if he'd like a kiss. It was precious. :)

Shhh. Don't let the secret out about our beautiful weather or everyone will want to come live here!

Can you believe we ate on the patio in the middle of winter?

Great idea, Megan! I think I'm going to do the same thing. I am 44 and embarrassed to admit I've NEVER had a mammogram yet! I know, I know, I'm terrible. I'm going SOON I promise. And when I do, I think I'll wear pink, pass out M&M's and make a day of it! :-)

Great blog, by the way.

Beautiful scarf. What great friends. God is good to us. I'm 42 and have never had an mammogram--but when I have my first you guys will have to go with me!

Hi Megan! Great idea...I'm going through some female health issues, and a buddy would be a lot of comfort right about now:-)

By the way, I'm an online book reviewer, and I noticed you have a book being published by Tyndale next Spring. I'd love to be a reviewer/promoter for you! Email me at
