Aren't commercials supposed to create desire within the consumer? To be honest, it caught my attention, but not in a positive way. When I mentioned the commercial to a friend, she claims she saw it, but thought it was a commercial for some kind of nasal issue. Ha, ha!
Take a look and tell me what you think.

I saw it for the first time last wee, and it creeped me out too.
It creeped me out as well. I made the same observation regarding the nose. I don't get the connection between the "people person" and the car. Poor marketing in my opinion. Though I'm glad to know I'm not the only one creeped out by it.
I think they are trying to emphasize the Prius FAMILY aspect. Maybe they were going for shock to attract people to watch the commercial rather than doing something else. Whatever, it doesn't work for me at all, either! YUCK!
I own a FABULOUS Prius - LOVE it! Love all the room in the back, the cargo room, the smart key. And, as a hybrid, I get 43-53 mpg - and even much more sometimes!!!! Best decision ever.
Maybe they want to discourage people from buying 'em because of the Tsunami in Japan and the inventory is low! -marla benroth
Oh, good. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. LOL
I'm glad I'm not alone. I had commented to my husband when watching this, I thought it was creepy, too.
Haha. Well, you know me. I like it. :) In their past commercials they've had trees and all the lanscape made out of people. I guess I'm a little different, like them. :)
Good for you, Kay. I'm not surprised you like it. :)
