I'm editing my manuscript right now, and part of the book's premise rests on the fact that sometimes things aren't as they seem. Take a look at the photo above. When I first saw it, I thought it was a herd of horses. Then I looked again. Zebras.
I wonder how much suffering exists in this world by mistaken assumptions. I'm just thinkin'.

You worked that concept of mistaken assumptions about one of the difficult-to-like characters in "Searching for Spice" who turned out to help the heroine in time of need.
That's right, Susan. I think mistaken assumptions happen all too often.
