Views on rejection from successful writers

Sylvia Plath
I saw this article, 12 Famous Writers on Literary Rejection, and it's too good not to share.

My favorite is what Sylvia Plath said: "I love my rejection slips. They show me I try."

Writers, we need to learn what we can from rejection and then move f-o-r-w-a-r-d!

So many varied responses to rejection, but it all boils down to: What are you going to do? Are you going to quit, walk off the field, and let rejection win the game by default? Or are you going to stay in the game, get past the rejection, and win?
